Perfection!
This is the perfect mascara..... my search is over. After trying just about every mascara on the market this is the best in show. Now I know why the Sephora that I always go to never has any black in stock.

This mascara gives you full, thick, beautiful lashes and it doesn't clump, flake or smear. You can even rub your eye when it itches and there is no dark smear under your eye.

I am happy to report that I can dispose of the 7 other mascaras in my makeup bag as this is the only one that I will be using from now on. I have tried every kind and brand of mascara that I thought might make my whimpy lashes look full: Borjouis, Benefit, Stilla, Urban Decay, Revlon, Loreal, Cover Girl, Almay, Max Factor, you name it and I have tried it.

The only mascara that I had purchased more than once is the Loreal Voluminous mascara and my old faithful Borjouis Volume Glamour mascara (the one with the pink lid) both of which work well but are missing something. Now I have one that's perfect and I don't need to try any new ones, I will definitely purchase this mascara again.

Want the Look of False Eyelashes?
This mascara is incredible. One coat is the equivelent of two or three other brands. I usually put on three or four since I'm an eyelash diva and always have to have the dramatic show stopping lashes. If you're like me, then this mascara is for you. Warning: not to be used by those who want to look like Plain Jane.
Good mascara is hard to find. This is GREAT mascara!

Yes, it's more expensive than the teeny-wanded stuff that flakes or smudges off within an hour, leaving you looking droopey-eyed or worse. I purchased this in Azure and literally have lost track of the number of compliments I've received on it: It's not the cheesy blue of the 1970s--this is a luxurious tanzanite blue (one that a friend noticed matched my motorcycle leathers).

Must-Have!
The colors are actually darker than shown here. Orgasm is more rose than light pink, and laguana is more baked tan than golden tan (though it does have gold shimmers). I have olive/tan skin and thought these would look horrible on me but surprisingly both work well. They can be used singly or combined. The color intensity is well measured out...one or two sweeps are enough. And the first sweep is never too much (unlike some you end up having to wipe some off cause it makes you look like a clown). Using Orgasm on the cheekbone and Laguana just underneath with one sweeping motion towards the ears adds dimension nicely. And the colors stay...it's been 10 hours...and I haven't had to touch up. Awesome!

No one else has tried Sin/Casino? Well I have medium skin with yellow
undertones and I thought that Orgasm/Laguna would look bad on me on account of so many positive light skinned reviewers. so I got this one instead. I like the bronzer a lot. Its a darker shade and shows up well on my skin but is not fake looking. The shimmer is fine and not too obvious like others. I like to put some around my jaw, under my cheekbones and right under my hairline to define my face. I think the blush comes on a little strong. Both colors are a lot darker than the photo above shows. The blush is a nice color but a little too rich for my skin tone, I was looking for something that would brighten a little more and this color I felt it sort of ways down my skin-tone. Its a little too purple and I wanted something pinker. I think If I had just a bit darker skin it would work better. I'm thinking of exchanging it for Orgasm/Laguna but the problem is I'm in love with the Bronzer! I'm afraid Laguna will be too orange and not show up well. But all in all the product is great quality the colors match very nicely, they blend very well into my skin and do not look fake. The packaging is rubbery so you don't drop it all the time. The mirror inside is huge which I love. The shipping was standard and it only took 3 days to get here! The only reason I put 4 stars was because of the blush being too dark but that is my fault anyway.

It works.
I'm Thai, tan and this just works. People think I look well rested, even when I've barely gotten any sleep... I'd buy it again.

One of the best concealers around town
This is one of the best multipurpose concealers around, especially for those who have serious dark circles under the eye. I'm a fair skin Asian with yellow undertones and have very serious purple brown undereye circles. I've tried many full coverage concealers from Bobby Brown to Mac but this is by far the best for me. It goes on creamy and sets to a powdery finish. Its easy to blend and you do not need to set it with loose powder. For more staying power, I prime my undereyes with "Too Faced Shadow Insurance" before the concealer. However, do moisturize the eye area first or it can be drying. A little goes a long way or it will cake and crease.

I've given this product 4 stars because CIA was way too light for me despite the fact that Sephora indicated in their description "light ivory/for fair to light complexion". DEA would have been a better colour. Instead of returning it, I've ordered FBI so that I could mix both shades to get the exact match for my skin tone.

Also, do invest in an Urban decay sharpener as the nib often breaks everytime I sharpen the pencil.

All I can say is WOW!
Urban Decay's Complexion Primer Potion should be renamed "Miracle in a Tiny Purple Tube." Seriously. It really is THAT good.

I was hesitant to try this product at first because I'd read very mixed reviews about it. When it arrived in the mail, I was disappointed that the tube was on the small side. Then when I went to apply it for the first time, I freaked out because not only is the tube shaped like a glue bottle, the consistency of the product is kind of gluey as well.

However, my apprehension dissolved as soon as I rubbed this product onto my face. It's a thicker primer than the ones I've used before, and you have to take a few extra seconds to blend it in really well, but HOLY COW, I could not believe it when I saw what an immediate impact it had on my skin!

The best way I can explain it is this: I shelled out money to have airbrushed makeup applied for my wedding, and this primer makes me look like I am airbrushed all over again, which I LOVE. My pores are practically nonexistent when I wear this stuff, and foundation glides on super smoothly. My makeup definitely lasts longer when I wear the primer underneath it. (Even my husband noticed a difference, and ladies, we all know that is saying a lot!)

My only complaint is the primer's hefty price tag...$30 for a one-ounce tube is kind of ridiculous. If I use this primer every single day, I'll be lucky if the tube lasts a month. However, let me reiterate...this stuff is MAGICAL! If I have to shell out $30 per month to look this good, then so be it. I may die broke, but at least I'll look FABULOUS!

I started using Urban Decay 24/7 liner after purchasing a "demo" kit. I was completely blown away at the quality of the product and the long-lasting capability. I am a gym rat and I play racquetball...I have yet to have this eyeliner come off even when sweating out completely at the gym. My eye make-up still looks just applied....after all day and a 2 hour trip to the gym. It goes on like velvet....no pulling of your eye....and it can be smudged immediately, just don't wait 30 seconds..or your smudging window of opportunity is gone. Wears amazing. We'll worth every penny! I am never without it now. GREAT colors too. Use them in combination....awesome eyes!

Must have
This is simply the best bronzer I have ever had. I use it all year. In the summer I wear it alone and it makes my tan look radiant. In the winter it gives pep to skin giving it a healthy glow.

I use the baked poweder as a blush and it stays on all day. I just love the color and the lite sparkle. My only disapointment with this product is that it doesn't have a mirror or a sponge.

Great wearable colors!
I really only wanted the green shadow (each color is also sold individually) when I came across this palette. If you are tired of basic neutrals and need to inject some color into your look, this is the way to go. I'm a fair skinned blonde and over 30 but I will say that every color works without making you look like you're trying to relive your teen years. I like to use them wet as a liner along the top eyelashes, but with a light hand, they can work as eyeshadow for day looks too. The shadows are soft, blendable and very saturated. A little goes a long way. They have shimmer but not glitter like some of Urban Decays other colors. Added bonus...it comes with a travel size primer which I was wanting to try anyway but not willing to plunk down the $15 for it. I will after I run out because that stuff is AMAZING. Your eyeshadow WILL NOT BUDGE until you take it off. Great stuff! I've always been a loyal Stila and Lorac user but am finding that more and more Urban Decay is creeping into my makeup kit. Try the glosses too!

best eyeshadows ever!
Urban decay makes the best eyeshadows...and I've tried them all...was so happy when UD came with this kit...it's absolutely beautiful and filled with the best and brightest colors...the texture is great...and it lasts forever even without the primer which is included...the primer is just magic...but I'm saving it for my cheaper eyeshadows since these shadows are bright enough on their own...

Great colours, great quality!
I was an Urban Decay virgin until I bought this pallette. I figured it'd be a nice way to sample the colours and quality, as well as the primer potion I'd heard so much about.

And now, I'm finding it difficult to go back to any other brand. The shadows have great staying power on their own, but added with the bonus primer potion, I don't even have to pull out my compact during the day to make sure I'm not creased and smudged, or even faded. Once it's there, it's there till you decide to remove it.

It's incredibly easy to put these shadows on a bit heavy for a bold, vibrant look, or you just brush a little on, for a soft but fun look. Blends seamlessly. I love layering Zero over one of the bright colours for an intense, deep shade. Great for smokey eyes, if you like doing them.

Even the packaging is nice on this. I've been recommending this product to anyone and everyone who'll listen to me since the day I bought it. If you're considering it, go for it. You'll love it.

To Dry For? To Die For!!!
I am completely hooked on this product! You can buy the cheapest nail polish that wouldn't normally last a day, put two coats of To Dry For over it and it'll stay for a WEEK!! It's also great for decals and rhinestones. They don't come off till you take them off and then it isn't easy! I do a lot of garden work and used to break, train and show horses in California. I hate gloves and wear arficial nails. My polish was never an issue. To Dry For really is To Die For!!!!!!!

I'm in love with this case, the brush makes color application easy and results in a natural look; for those days when your brows decide to be all over the place the rimmel really gets them in order, the tweezers are great and the shapes probably aren't that great but they at least let you get an even shape.

NO MORE BROW BROWSING
What's a painting without a frame and what do eyes look like without perfectly shaped eye brows? Probably very much like mine before trying Anastasia's Clear Brow Gel. While my brows aren't thick, some of the hairs do have a tendency to go their own wayward way after a while - no more!

Great color and coverage- makes me break out
I purchased this powder foundation because I had a great experience with the Sue Devitt Triple C-Weel Gel Foundation. The color (Tanami) is a great look for me and blends beautifully. The powder is also great. Unfortunately, it makes me break out. I haven't been able to find a powder foundation to date that doesn't. It also comes in a pretty tiny container with a mini-puff applicator inside. I hate storing the applicator right next to the makeup. Overall, I'd say the gel foundation is definitely worth the price but the powder is only so-so.

Long lasting thick eyeliner
I love this eye pencil. It has a thick tip and glides on easily. This pencil can be smudged with the sponge tip, but it stays on for a long time if you choose to not smudge/blend it. I've used Chiang-Mai, which is a soft black, dark gray; Kenya, nice basic brown; Zaire, fun brownish-plum/purple; and a navy-colored one whose name I can't recall, but was a very wearable-navy color.

Wonderful Product!!
I bought a Sue Devitte Eye Intensifier Pencil in Laos, and it's one of the best eye pencils I've ever used. This color is greyish brown and it makes my brown eyes bigger and more sparkly. It glides on easily and you can smuge it and use it as an eyeshadow. It stays on for more than 10 hours no problem. I rated 4 stars because of it's high price tag but it's worth it.

Long-lasting and easy to apply
I have been pretty pleased with this eyeliner, which I purchased a few weeks ago. Three things that I recommend if you purchase it:
1) Use a eyelid primer first, to help it last;
2) Once you have applied the eyeliner, you can apply a bit of eye shadow (similar color) on top of it to help it last and to help even out the line;
3) The Sue Devitt eye pencil sharpener is pretty key for this- I tried a different brand, and it was clear that was going to do more damage than good. The SD sharpener is made specifically for this and is probably the best tool.
My eyelids are prone to 'getting rid' of eyeliner that I put on there, and I've been pleased with how this has lasted. It is also quite smooth to apply.

Best primer ever
I love everything I've used by Sue Devitt... but mainly this primer used under her foundation. I use Clarins primer also but Sue Devitt is preferable to any other. Thanks.

The BEST primer.
My friend kept raving about this primer so I finally decided to try it myself. I couldn't believe how soft and even my skin looked. Also, I have very oily skin and this keeps it matte for most of the day. It's not at all chalky though, some healthy shine does come through. I notice a huge difference in my skin when I use this.

It does have some issues going on but for my skin that is the least of my problems, besides I have found that if I apply it and then let dry and then lightly go over my face with a clean facial brush, it gets rid of the streaking that occurs when you apply it. Due to acne problems and sensitive skin I cannot use most of the foundations out there (not to mention hair sprays, perfumes etc...) This foundation works good for me because it tones down the red in my skin (I use Tanami) and it does not cause me to break out. I also have a sensitivity to titanium dioxide, and most other foundtions contain that in fairly large amounts.

Just about the best I've tried
Sue Devitt Triple C-weed foundation is ideal for sensitive and dry skin. Most cream foundations are either too tacky or too thick; this is not. I agree with the comment that blending can be a problem (creams are harder to blend in general). When my skin is too dry I blend in a few drops of a gel like Aveda Night Nutrients. I've never found an easier way to get perfect coverage, and I'll definitely buy this product again.

My Favorite Gloss!
I own quite a selection of these, and can personally vouch for the great, flattering colors. My personal favorites are Blushing, Teddy Bear, and Berry Cool. They work great with lip liner, and look glamorously shiny! Word of warning - They stay moist, so may come off on cups and clothes.

Great inexpensive gloss!
Why pay a lot of money for gloss when you can use these? Avon's Glazewear comes in a bunch of great colors (not of which are garish as their lipstick tend to be). The formulation is very nice--the gloss goes on quite thick and is a bit sticky, which I think gives it better staying power than the average gloss. I have this in Chocolate Fling and Blushing, two colors which are actually more similar than they appear in the above photo (the former is a bit more on the brown side, the latter a bit more on the pink side). They have a nice scent to them as well, sort of a slightly vanilla/cocoa butter combination. Overall, I am very happy with this product, and I would definitely recommend these glosses.

Very nice gloss
I just bought my first Glazewear lipgloss in Mirage. It's a shimmery beige shade with some sparkle in it. Don't worry, you don't even notice that once it's on. It's great because unlike some of the pinkier shades, this one is very natural. It's not at all frosty, and it glides on very smoothly. I feel more dressed up with it on. It's shiny, has staying power (but not through a full meal), and a great deal when it's on sale. Overall a good quality product. I want to get more and wear them all the time.

Not what I expected
I had a different color eyeshadow quad from Avon and loved it. You could layer it to get a more intense color or just dab a little on to get a subtle color. This one is different. The color is drab and lacks shimmer even though I generally prefer blue or gray eyeshadow. it does not layer well and you cannot get a soft shade with it.

A MAKEUP ARTIST'S PERSPECTIVE-Good for me, but not for everyone
As a makeup artist I have been doing makeup for weddings and special events for almost nine years now.

A vow to my clients is that I will never put anything on their face that I have not tried myself. Therefore, when clients started asking about bare minerals and whether I would recommend it or not I felt obligated to try it out.

When I try "new" products I put them through a volley of tests.

The first test I put it through I call the "photograph" test.

Some makeups have reflective agents in them that reflect bright likes such as the flash from a camera. While they look normal and well blended in normal lighting conditions they can look comically white in photographs were a flash is used. When doing makeup for weddings it is ESSENTIAL that the makeups I use DO NOT have reflective agents.

I took a photograph of my natural skin in normal lighting, then used a flash. I put on the BM foundation, came back and took two more photographs: one in normal lighting with no flash, one with a flash. I'm pleased to announce that bare minerals DID pass the photograph test.

My second test is the oil test. I have VERY oily skin and so do many of my clients. If it won't last all day on my skin, how can I expect it to last all day on the skin of a laughing, hugging, drinking, dancing, partying, kissing bride. I was happy to announce that it DID last a BIT longer than other foundations I have used in the past but it did not last as long as I would have liked. Touch ups during the day are essential to all-day wear (or a very good oil-control powder).

I really liked the way it looked and felt on my own skin but there are clients that I would NOT recommend it for.

I have a very strict facial regiment that I go through to keep my skin healthy, clear and fresh. If my skin were not in the healthy shape that it is in because of my regiment I don't believe bare minerals would be for me.

A healthy regiment is a MUST for this or any makeup. If I get a client who has not taken care of her skin I will not use bare minerals. I will moisturize the face, cover the problem spots and use a different type of foundation. I MAY brush a little over the top to give them a matte finish but it will not be my principle cover up.

Bare Minerals seems to be more about enhancing beautiful skin, not concealing troubled skin.

If you would like to use this product and use it effectively you MUST do the following:
1. MOISTURIZE! Though I recommend this for ALL of my clients it is still essential for Bare Minerals. An expensive foundation, whether bare minerals, or any other brand for that matter, will not be able to give you the moisture your face needs. Find a good moisturizer. Moisturize in the morning and at night.
2. Allow your moisturizer to completely absorb into your skin before you apply Bare Minerals. Because Bare Minerals is a powder it clings to moisture wherever it finds it. If you have any lingering moisturizer on your face it will cling to it and leave you looking caked and pasty. I recommend waiting about five minutes after moisturizing before applying bare minerals.
3. WASH YOUR FACE! Though this product boasts that it is so pure you can sleep in it, that is hogwash. Anything you put on your face for an extended period of time that cannot be absorbed (such as a moisturizer) IS going to clog your pores. I don't care how "pure" it is. Personally, I wash my makeup off with a gentle foaming cleanser and then I ex foliate with proactiv. I also use proactiv's toner and repairing lotion when needed, and I ALWAYS moisturize. Because bare minerals is a powder and not a liquid I have found it is a little easier to wash off initially, but because it is a powder and has tiny particles that CAN clog pores, my toner is especially necessary to really get down deep and clean my pores.

Healthy skin is essential to the success of any great look, but bare minerals is NOT a cure to skin problems as it boasts to be. The cure to skin problems is treatment to the best of it's ability. If you have acne, use an acne wash or talk to a dermatologist. If you have dry skin, moisturize. If you have oily skin, moisturize as well (as many times the body produces MORE oil when you try to dry it out). If you have a rash or any other skin problem, talk to a dermatologist and treat the condition. Makeup is NOT a cure to skin issues, it is an enhancement to the beautiful skin beneath it.

It is true that certain makeups can HELP your skin problems but do not look for makeups to cure your skin issues. If you abandon your skin regiment for a promise of healthy skin from a makeup, nine times out of ten you are going to find your skin problems coming back.

For those who have switched to Bare minerals and seen dramatic improvement in their skin, that is wonderful. It is very likely that a product in your old makeup was harming your skin or a certain product in Bare Minerals is exactly what your skin needed for a boost. Way to go!

Don't get sucked into the belief that a makeup will cure an issue with your skin. Talk to a dermatologist. Get your skin issues taken care of before you try the makeup and then see.

Also, DO NOT get sucked into the belief that the success of one product within a brand means that everything that brand produces is going to be as good. I get many clients who say, "I ONLY use XYZ..."
There are MANY brands that excel at one or two things but the rest of their products are substandard.

If you find one thing that works FABULOUSLY for your skin or your eyes, or whatever, by all means use it, but don't throw away the rest of your makeup and go all out for just that ONE brand, you will really miss out on the other one of two GREAT products produced by other brands.

I, myself, have over 20 brands of makeup in my kit. I'll never be the bride of just ONE brand.

Take care of your skin and you'll be surprised how many makeups WILL work for you.

I'm finally willing to wear foundation!
I have never worn foundation in my life. I hated being able to feel it on there, & I hated the effort of washing it off every night & how long it took to put on. This has solved all those problems. Applying the foundation takes maybe 30 seconds. I don't feel like I have anything on my face at all. Family was telling me how nice I looked, but when I told them I was wearing foundation they were surpised. It looked so natural. And this stuff won't hurt your skin if you leave in on at night. So no big hassle when you're tired & want to go to bed. The starter kit is the way to go; I was going to try just the foundation & was glad I got the starter kit. I'll Never Go Back to Liquid Foundation Again
I have what i've always considered "problem skin". It's on the oily side with largish pores, prone to breakouts (even though I'm in my late 20s), and has a tendency to look greasy under makeup. For years I've worn liquid foundation to cover up these imperfections and to even out my skin tone. I never thought that a powder based foundation could work for me because they typically don't provide enough coverage.

I have a few friends that rave about bareMinerals, so when a store near me recently offered a free two week trial kit, I decided to try it. I was shocked at how well the bareMinerals foundation worked. It offers adjustable coverage, so I can wear more foundation when I need it, less when I don't. The makeup goes on smooth, is super easy to blend, and I never end up with a telltale foundation line on my chin. My skin doesn't get greasy under it, and it's all still there at the end of the day. All in all it seems like the perfect foundation!

This starter kit is a good deal if you're just starting out with bareMinerals. It has two foundation colors, so you can decide which one is right for you. It also has some All Over Warmth (it's basically a cross between blush and bronzer) and Mineral Veil (which is a great finishing powder) to finish your look. Better coverage than liquid
I just got my kit today and am so in love! It is easy to use, covers well and is easy to touch up if need be. This includes both fair and fairly light. Fair is very light and fairly light is a tad darker, a bit too dark for my skin however I found a great use for it. Warmth, a foundation primer and 3 brushes complete the set.

You start by applying the primer, just a tad all over your face. It helps refine your pores a bit and I think it may help the make up stick. Then you use the swirl, tap, buff method to apply your foundation. You can mix colors, mix with warmth or just use the single color and apply. Then you can use your concealer brush to hide those tough spots. If you have some really troublesome skin you can buff again but I really see no need. Next, lightly brush warmth over your cheeks, nose lower chin and quickly across the forehead. This makes you look like you have a nice warm glow. Now, it may look a bit too strong on fair skin, but once you use the mineral veil, it tames the colors down and evens out your entire skin town to make everything blend seamlessly, refine pores and cover and little spots. You are left with no makeup lines on your face and no signs of wearing make up at all.

My husband came home and said something looks different but could not figure it out (he hates it when I look made up). I finally told him and he just loved it, said it was so natural and beautiful but most importantly it left my skin really soft.

I started using Bare Escentuals because my Mother started buying it from QVC. Now their popularity is gaining and you can find it more locally than before. I got the tinted mineral veil through a kit and really liked it. The regular mineral veil is great too but what I like about the tinted veil is that it gives you a hint of healthy color that not everyone has on their own. If you pick a lighter shade of because you have a fair complexion don't worry that it will make you too dark - like a bronzer may. This gives you a sun kissed look.

Long Time User
I have been using this makeup line for years, and at first I didn't like it. I then found out that I wasn't doing it right to get the coverage I needed. It's important to get enough makeup in the brush. At any rate, I now love it and can't imagine using anything else. This makeup has really improved my skin over time, I have terribly oily skin and liquid foundations just turned to mud by the end of the day. Now, if I go without makeup for a few days I break out, instead of makeup breaking me out like it used to. I can't say enough about this stuff, it's great. If you use it and find you don't like it, you may want to visit with someone else who uses it or the counter because it's possible you aren't getting it quite right. That was the case with me.

I've been using Bare Minerals for over 2 years. At first I was using the Bisque for the dark circles under my eyes. It works better than any other concealer I had tried including MAC, Clinique, and other department store brands. I thought Bisque was the best thing ever, until...I discovered Well Rested. Try it, you'll be shocked at how much it will cover up! Also, I'm not self conscious about looking like I'm wearing a ton of make-up because it's hardly noticeable. I give Bisque 4 stars and Well Rested gets 5 stars. You can also wear them together for serious dark circles.

I use the Bisque. I mainly use it around my eyes -- eye shadow base, cover under-eye circles, etc. I love to use it in between my eyebrows. For some reason, my skin gets really red there. I have also use it to cover up pimples.

So silky!
I've used Bare Escentuals makeup for the past 2 years and have really enjoyed the product. It's easy to apply (after the initial learning curve), provides great coverage and doesn't become oily looking or rub off. The only complaint I had was that the eye shadows didn't seem to stay put and would build up in the crease of my eyelid and that tiny crows feet became a bit more prominent after even a very light application. NO MORE! Prime Time has solved those problems and more. It's so silky smooth during application, isn't tacky or oily and has even eliminated the look of small pores on the nose area. Will definitely be using the product consistently!

I got a sample of this with my order of BareMinerals starter kit, its a sheer soft gel that the skin absorbs right away, its so light and gives a silky feel to the skin, and its not oily at all!
I really like it, I never used a foundation primer before, I just use a sunscreen or any other cream for my face before makeup, you know it works the same EXCEPT that this gel is not oily and doesn't come up to he surface later on the day!
Try to get a sample and see how you feel about it, I like i!

Less is more
They say "less is more" about this product and they're not kidding. One pump under your foundation is all you need. It does wonders for the overall look of my foundation - I find that it takes a lot less foundation to cover my very blotchy skin.
I didn't believe them the first time I tried it because one pump is not a lot at all - but I ended up with oily looking skin when I tried two pumps. Also, it is very important to let it dry before using the Bare Escentuals foundation because it will look patchy if you don't!

One of the BEST Bare Escentuals products!
My sister recently purchased a BE starter kit, and she was so impressed that I decided to try it for myself. One of the extras that she bought was "Clear Radiance" all-over face color. I absolutely LOVED the color and very slight shimmer provided by this product. It is a great TRULY all-over face highlighter without being at all over-powering.

"Warmth" was also included in the starter kit. Being very pale, I was skeptical that I would be able to use such a dark bronzer-like product (and I definitely used too much on my first try), but with practice, I found that I was able to get a good bronze highlight without going overboard. MOST IMPORTANT HINT: You do have to be VERY careful to use a VERY small amount, especially for pale skin-tones.

Also, Warmth is a little bit finer powder than the foundation. Because of this, I have found that it tends to gather above the sifter rather than staying below the sifter. This causes quite a bit of trouble if you are trying to use the recommended minimal amount (sticks to lid, and you have to tap off as much as possible before swirl/tap/buff). I would recommend only removing part of the sticker covering the sifter, so that way only a couple/few sifter holes are open, leaving you with more control.

I liked Clear Radiance and Warmth SO much that I decided to try more all-over face colors. When looking at the color selections, I was drawn to Glee, Soft Focus Warmth, and Rose Radiance. I went to my local BE boutique, and the Glee was too purple for my skin tone (I'm sure it is spectacular on others, just wasn't right for me).

While looking at the Sephora BE online boutique, I saw the "Go Bare, Baby" kit which included Soft Focus Warmth (SF Warmth), Rose Radiance, Bare Radiance, and the Soft Focus Face Brush. Considering that I was already wanting SF Warmth (for my paler skin) and Rose Radiance as well as a softer face brush, I decided that the GBB kit was perfect.

SF Warmth is EXACTLY what you would expect. It has all the qualities of Warmth which I like, but just a little bit lighter, which is perfect for my pale skin. As I said before, I have learned to use regular Warmth; however, I will probably give that to my sister (slightly tanner than me) and use SF Warmth from now on.

Rose Radiance is perfect as a light blush (a little too dark for me to use all over), and I have been able to create a very nice look by layering Clear Radiance, SF Warmth, and Rose Radiance and using them on different parts of my face (all-over, cheeks, eyes). I think I will probably be needing to purchase a true blush for occassions which require a darker blush, but Clear & Rose Radiance are perfect for everyday.

I have not yet used Bare Radiance, but since it is so neutral, I imagine it will be another great choice for all-over color and also an interesting addition to eye effects, etc. The pots in the GBB kit are a bit smaller than full size all-over colors, but considering the tiny amount used each application, I think they will probably last quite a long time. I love BE's all-over colors, and there is a GREAT selection of different colors!

Warmth
Just be aware a little goes a long way; the color is really intense and if you use too much you look like an 80's rocker. If applied sparingly, it adds a lovely color and lasts all day. I've found that mixing it with mineral veil first makes it less intense and more like a bronzer, rather than a really strong blush. It's a brownish bronze color, and with the mineral veil can be moderated nicely. If I don't mix it first I need to go over it again with the foundation or it's just too intense. I got a jar of it 11/05 with the starter pack and it is STILL mostly full, and I use it a few times a week. I think it's a good product, I just had to learn to modify it so it worked best for me. I think that's what is so good about the BE products; you can use them in a way that works for you, but may be different than how others use them. For future purchases, I think I'll get a less dark/intense shade.

Glee is the BEST!!!
I'm Irish, fair-skinned with naturally rosy cheeks. Once I put my my bare minerals foundation on, I tend to need more face color! I bought the bare minerals light kit which came with Warmth all-over face color. It was a little too dark for me. I think it looks better on tan skin or darker skin tones. I decided to try glee and I absolutely love it. The best thing about the all-over face colors is you don't need much. Glee is a very soft, dewy kind of look, perfect for spring!

This product is NOT A PRIMER
After reading all of these negative reviews regarding the Rev-er Upper, I noticed that many people were expecting this product to be a primer. However, Bare Escentuals sells Prime Time as a primer. If you look at the ingredients listed on the Rev-er Upper, salicylic acid is the 5th product listed...which is also the same ingredient in many acne medicines. This product is designed to exfoliate your skin by drying it out. I have used the Rev-er Upper only twice and my skin started to peel (like it's supposed to). Since I've never had bad acne, I don't really use it unless I am having a breakout and want my skin to dry out. But I can see this being a good product for those with more acne issues. As for the Prime Time, I've never used it...I use Smashbox Photo Finisher and swear by it.

Great even if you don't use Bare Escentuals make up!
I recently tried Skin Rev-er Upper BEFORE actually trying any of the Bare Escentuals foundations. I love it. My complexion feels and looks great. For me it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything - very lightweight. I didn't care for their foundations (since I never wear any) but will continue using the Rev-er Upper for a clear, beautiful complexion!

a must before foundation
I didn't understand how important this little product was before I lost it and noticed an immediate difference in how my makeup looked. I went on vacation and skin rev-er upper was accidentally left behind, much to my dismay. I continued using the foundation without it and even thought I still used my usual moisturizer, my makeup just didn't look as smooth and flawless! Plus, I noticed that my skin without makeup wasn't as smooth or blemish free without the glycolic and salicylic acids. So the moral of the story is: skin rev-er upper really prepares your face for smooth and radiant application of bare minerals foundation.

Definitely get it in the starter kit, as it is quite expensive by itself!

Simply the best
eyeshadow in the world. Being new to this makeup line this kit was en excellent addition. The colors, vanilla sugar eye shadow (a light creamy peach), fashionista liner shadow (a rum raisin/brown),peach puff eyeshadow (creamy peach), and explore soft focus eye shadow (medium brown) all blend together so that you cannot tell where one color starts and the other begins. Applying your bareminerals foundation first, glues it all on. The included booklet guides you along.

Being in my 40's, natural looking is the name of the game for me. No glitter, sparkles, heavy eye liners etc. This kit accomplished that. I got brave and tried the "foiling" effect and fell in love ! The colors did not migrate, the liner stayed in place for over 12 hours, and I had no eye irritation at all.

Better than I expected!
I have fair skin and red hair. I was hoping to find a non-irritating, everyday look for my eyes that was both complimentary and stay-put. I found just that in this Bare Minerals product. I love the peachy beige look of the shadow, very natural and sophisticated. My eyes appear a lighter blue when wearing this shadow. I noticed the model on the box has brown eyes and she looks amazing, so I would think the colors would look great on various eye colors. I was skeptical about the liner. One, it was powder turned to paste with a liner brush. I've always used liquid eyeliner. I was quite pleased and happy to find this liner worked better than my liquid and actually stayed put equally as well.

Wonderful!!
This has been the first and only primer I had ever used. I love it! But I thought I'd try something at the local store that was cheaper and I didn't have to buy online. So I tried the L'oreal DE-CREASE and it was nothing like the Prime Time. It wasn't as creamy and my makeup still creased. I'm sticking with BE on this one. It's the best!

Excellent
This "Primer" as they call it is the best cover for the dark circles under your eyes as well as any discoloration on your eyelid. I've even used it to cover spots on other areas of my face. It is creamy, you only need a tiny bit on the area and it comes out really smooth and nice. I'm VERY picky and have never found anything,(I've tried a lot,) that works like this. It's a little pricey for what you think you're getting, but again because of the little amount needed at a time it lasts and works with that amount. It's definetly worth it.

The Best!!!
I have very oily eyelids and have tried several products to make my eyeshadow and liner stay put throughout the day....needless to say, none of them worked! This one however did!!! I was AMAZED!!! Usually my eye make up begins to fade and crease almost a hour after applying. With this stuff it stays on ALL day until I wash my face. I had almost given up on being able to wear eye makeup...glad I found this product. Try it, you will not be disappointed!!!

Makes a Girl want to cry with happiness
The smooth blendability of the Bare Escentual eye shadows almost has me weepy. It is superior in its silky qualities and the Passionate Plum shadow is excellent for defining the eyes. The lightweight feel leaves only the slightest powder on your skin as it adheres delicately for long lasting results. The only thing that makes me nervous is that the powder is in a container without a protective plastic element like the foundation. If you drop this, it is history. I'd love to see them make up kits of pressed powder so you could try more shades all at once.

Boy is this stuff dense! Incredibly rich color that goes on silky smooth. Quite a bargain too, since you only need to use a small amount for a big effect. I have blue eyes, and I use "denim" for special effects around my eyes. This can be tricky, since I want to avoid the "blue eyeshadow" look, but this shade is darker and richer than ordinary blues. The only caveat is the packaging -- I agree with the previous reviewer who commented that you do NOT want to drop this little container if it's open. There is no protective perforated cover. Otherwise, a great beauty buy. UPDATE: since I wrote this review, BE has added an inside cover, which is very helpful. If you like dark brown powder with bronzy highlights, try the color "Sex Kitten," it looks great as a liner and can give you a gorgeous smoky eye.

Like a child in her mother's makeup drawer again!!!!
I am 36 years old and started using Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals makeup about a month ago when it was time to replenish makeup I'd used for years and didn't even like. It was the best of the worst. I'd seen the advertising on QVC and always dismissed it until now. I was intimidated at first so I bought their most expensive kit so I could have a starting place - and they had a guarantee so I knew I could return it if it was poor quality. It took me two days to figure out what it was that I had and I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER go back to my old cosmetics EVER again. Once I learned how to apply and got more confident (about 2 days) by the third day I was on fire! I've received many compliments about my face or my makeup over the past several weeks and you just can't beat that for an answer to "does my makeup look good?"

This companies' products have worked well for me in our hot, dry climate. They keep shine where it's supposed to be and a finished matte look everywhere else. I had high expectations for this product and was not disappointed. For value-to-price, the tube is quite large and elegant looking. The gloss didn't look cheap and tacky on and weird as it sounds, the product was almost cool and refreshing to put on. Almost like drinking very chilled water, but not unpleasant. A good purchase, although the color swatches are slightly off, unless you're an ice blonde
they will work fine. Just a LITTLE darker than they actually appear--

The Best!
I have tried every lip plumper on the market (no joke) and this is the best (besides pure cinnamon leaf oil, which burns like hell). I use B.E. products and I bought a couple of these bc I liked the colors. I was not expecting it to work as well as it did. Now it is all I use on my lips! It makes your lips feel cool, not burning!

The greatest liner ever.
Once again Im reviewing another BE product. These Liner Shadows are amazing! If you use them as just a liner I really see it lasting you a year! You use such a small amount. You also really need to get their eye liner brush...the combination of the two is what makes this product work so well. I used to try liquid liners and found them difficult to put on or it never looked quite right. With the liner shadow and brush I got amazing results the first time! If you want you can use them wet, dry, as an eyeliner, or eye shadow. When I use them as a liner they stay on all day but come off easy when washing my face. Their prices are pretty much the same everywhere. If you dont have a Bare Escentuals store nearby you try finding an Ulta store near you. Sephora sells them online only. Also ebay is great for trying samples!!! Their eye colors are really pigmented and you need so little that the samples will last you weeks!

easy to apply and stays put
I really like this liner! I use a wet liner brush and just an itty bit of the liner powder; it goes on smoothly, is easy to touch up to get it just right, doesn't travel, and I can make a sharp line or a smudgy look very easily. The brush that came with the set I got isn't as nice...it takes a lot of twirling to get it into a point, but that's a small trade off. I like this liner a lot and will likely, over time, get rid of my pencil liners. The only thing I don't like is the packaging; this stuff is DARK and is easily spilled over the counter. I think a more vertical container with one opening would do better, rather than the usual four opening container. I kept the sticker over three of the four holes, and it still spills when I open it.

I can actually wear eyeliner!!!!
I've tried all different types of eyeliner -- pencil, liquid, gel, etc. I hated them all -- too thick, too thin, too messy, etc. I love this one. I use the soft focus eye liner brush. It's easy to apply. I like a softer, smudged look. I can get that easily with this.

The last makeup you'll ever need
What I love about Bare Escentuals is it doesn't look like you are wearing make up at all. And even better, it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything either.

I own this eye shadow in MANY colors. I sat down at the makeup counter at Nordstrom and was shown how to do everything. The great thing about this eye shadow is how blendable it is. It's important to wear make up with out it being obvious... extreme lines between the colors, etc.

The eye shadow is easy to blend. Like another reviewer said, you control the color. For a light color, just use a very small amount. One more sweep of color will bring the shade out even more, and one more after that and you have a beautiful, still easy to blend, pigment on your lids.

The best part is foiling. Dip your brush in some water and shake off the excess. Dip the brush in the shadow and you get an amazing vibrant color that looks like you've used paint on your eyelids. This is great for a dark night out when you want to go a little more extreme.

The options are unlimited. And after owning so many different brands of makeup, I have to say I will ONLY buy Bare Escentials from now on.

Staying power and understated glitter
I use devotion; even though it's "glimmer," the sparkle is understated and looks appropriate for older women to wear to work. It works as an eyeshadow or underliner. The color is subtle, nowhere near as intense as in the container. It's easy to apply and contour. It doesn't get 5 stars because the pigment seems a little weak; it does take a bit of application for it to show well.

I love this stuff!!!
I have this in true gold and I love it!! It can be used very light and sheer for during the day and either go over it with a moist brush or add more for a bold night color. A little goes along way.

Smooth Creamy Lip Pencil
When this arrived, I'd forgotten what it was and couldn't figure out why I wanted "fig" as an eyeliner. Soon I realized this was actually the lipstick that doubles as a liner. The end pulls out and holds a tiny sharpener. The fig color is deep like a deep dusty rose. The lipstick seems to be more matte, so you may find you want to apply gloss after application. Also works well as a lip base if you are blending other shades of lipstick or layering colors. Definitely more fun than regular lipstick and applies with a sense of precision.

easy to use
I have shied away from buying the Bare Minerals lip products because of the price. I figured a lip product is a lip product. I use all the other products though. I was wrong. I LOVE THIS! I like being able to use it anywhere and get an accurate application. I have lots of lipsticks I don't use simply because I don't want to mess with a lip brush and liner, but this product negates the need for those items. Try it, you'll like it. I plan on adding more colors to my collection. I have Blush right now and it is a nice neutral shade for work.

Berry Quick-Stick..
A cool dark raspberry color. Totally creamy with excellent coverage. I use a very light coat on my bottom lip and then press lips together. Adding lip gloss or other lipstick colors make your results endless.

I plan on adding one of almost every color to my collection, might seem pricey to some, but you get what you pay for ! Recommend this item to anyone, anytime !

Love It!
I am happy to be the first person to review this product. I have only been using it for one week, and already I can see a difference! I am 39 and my skin tends to be a bit oily, and I get blemishes every so often. This product calms my skin down and makes it look beautiful for bed, which is nice for my husband too! It soaks up excess oil, and makes your skin feel nice and soft. Plumps up those tiny lines too. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way. I was sceptical at first but I am very pleased.
I have terrible combination skin that is so oily in my t-zone that sometimes my makeup runs at the same time that my cheeks will be so dry that they are peeling. I tend to break out on my chin, and to top it all off I have roseacea. I have been using this product for about two months now, and it has made a considerable difference in my skin. The tint makes it nice so if someone stops by after I have washed my face for the night or before I am ready in the morning I don't feel like I need to quickly put some makeup on. I have also noticed a difference in the texture of my skin and my cheeks have been much less dry and my t-zone has been much less oily and the redness has been reduced. I originally thought I would buy the product once and keep moving on to the next thing as I have with so many other products, but despite the price I will definitely repurchase this product when I run out. (After two months I still have about another couple months worth of product left, so it lasts a while.) I can't say I have noticed too much a change in fine lines, but with the other results I have noticed, I strongly recommend this product if you have combination skin and a problem with redness.
Threw away my Rosacea prescriptions
I have several issues with my skin - it's dry, I have rosacea, large pores around my nose, and a still-healing area along the side of my nose where I had to get a small skin cancer removed.

I love Bare Minerals makeup so I was quite excited when I saw this treatment. Of course, there was a tiny little bit of negativity in the back of my mind, telling me the only thing that's going to make my rosacea better is most likely the prescriptions I have from my dermatologist.

So I tried it - and now I use it faithfully every night. I make sure I wait until my nightly moisturizer has been absorbed into my skin for about 15 minutes or so before using the Rare Minerals (my moisturizer seems to clog up the applicator pad if I don't wait long enough). Aside from the nice coverage it provides, I noticed over time my pores were smaller around my nose, my skin is infinitely smoother and MUCH less red. So much so that I stopped using the prescription rosacea treatment I got from the dermatologist. Sure, I still have red areas, but they're getting less noticable over time.

The area where I had a small skin cancer removed was starting to flake as it healed... since I started using this treatment, I get no more flaking skin over the area.

Sure, it's got a hefty little price tag, but in my opinion, it's totally worth it!

Great Makeup
I am 44 & recently started using this makeup. I, too, had heard that the minerals would settle into tiny lines & make you look older. Bare Minerals makes this great product called "prime time foundation primer" that keeps this from happening & makes the tiny amount of minerals go even further. My skin & makeup look better than they have in years! There is definitely a learning curve with this type of makeup - be patient, watch the "how to" videos & you will get the hang of it in no time!

I love this kit!! I am 43 and my skin has never looked better since I started using this makeup. It is very light, feels like you're not wearing any makeup at all. I will never go back to liquid or cream foundations after using this. It lasts FOREVER, too.

Does what it is supposed to.
This seems to work well. I have only used it twice so far. My brushes looked better and felt a lot softer afterwards. Next time I buy brushes, I'm going to start out with this, so that they stay clean longer.

The only thing that I don't like is that it takes time to wash them, and then let the brushes dry. This meanst that you have to plan ahead, bc you won't be able to put makeup on for a long time. (The thicker the brush, the longer to dry.)

No More Pencils!
I'm done with pencils for a loooong time. I used to use pencil eyeliners everyday and I liked the line to be thin. So I sharpened them all the time. Talk about a waste of money! So much eyeliner would be wasted. Now that I've discovered powdered eyeliner, I won't be shaving my money into the garbage anymore.

Amazing product
I've been using this eye kit for several months now and am overall very pleased with it. It may be tricky to apply for some who have never used a powder liner before, and I recommend applying only a miniscule amount of powder to the brush, then tapping it off into the lid before applying (or you will have big mess when all the powder falls under your eyes). It's really all you need and this little pot will last about a year with regular use, and possibly much longer with occasional use.

Once you get the hang of the application process, it's a breeze, and you can create really smoky evening eye looks or everyday business/casual looks...the brush is very versatile!

this brush is unbelievable; i use this set everyday with the neutral shades in the get started eyes kit. i really prefer the retro color to fashionista, which was the liner shadow in the eye kit. when i used pencil liners, i was always an inch away from the mirror and painstakingly slow with errors that were difficult to fix. now, the application time has been cut by much more than half. my eyes and lashes look better than they ever have. i just love this product and use it everyday.

Wonderful lipstick, smooth and comfortable!
I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there's none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I'm Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people's lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a "bitten" look.

Good enough, but not great
I own this lipstick in Italian Ice and really love the color. However, this lipstick is difficult to apply. It goes on very dry - not creamy and smooth at all. Once on, it stays in place and the color stays true for a long time, but it is so dry that my lips start to chap by midday. So I've started using a clear gloss over the top just to add a bit of shine and moisture. I'm not sure I'd buy this product again, given the price. I have much less expensive lipsticks from drugstore brands that I like much better and that don't dry my lips.

good lipstick
I have this in passion fruit. I like it, but I agree with previous reviewers in that it does not go on that smooth, it is somewhat dry. But, the color I have lasts a LONG time! And it makes the application worth it. I would have given it 5 stars if it was just not quite so dry, but it's still a good lipstick.

I bought this kit a week ago, just on a whim, and I love it a lot more than I thought I would! I'm so pleased with it, I wore the colors every day this week. I'm not so good at putting colors together myself, so I appreciate how perfectly paired these two shadows are. I don't even have to think about it; I just follow the step-by-step guide printed on the box, and my eyes look fabulous. Since the colors are pretty neutral (with just a slight hint of purple), this duo is great for daytime, or you can add more powder for a dramatic nighttime look.

This duo looks great paired with several liner shadows (sold separately): Onyx, Soft Black, or Catwoman compliment it well. I plan to try mixing some Onyx with some Brocade liner shadow, to get more of a dark purplish liner to match the colors in this kit.

My only suggestion to improve this kit would be that I wish that the "Smoky V" brush was just a little less flimsy. The brush has too much "give" to it for my tastes. Apart from that, it does take a little bit of getting used to, but on the whole I find it to be a welcome addition to my BE brush collection.

Great colors and easy to use--No more raccoon eyes.
I have long tried to achieve the "smoky" eye look. Usually, I wind up looking like I've been beaten about the face by an angry mob, with dark smears of color leaving me looking hollow and tired, rather than smoky. When I saw the kit, I thought that it seemed a bit dark for everyday use, so I almost skipped it. But something brought me back and I grabbed it. Glad I did! First, the color choices are great. They are flattering to all skin tones and eye colors. The intensity is adjustable, making them suitable for day or night wear. It's a great change from the black and grays usually recommended for this look, which are tough to pull off.

The V brush is also a great invention. Just follow the instructions and application is so easy. My only complaint is that I wish the V was more defined. There is a tendency for the brush to provide a bit less definition than I'd like, but it's a very minor complaint. I feel confident to use the brush with other color combos to alter the look and it has become my #1 (and only) shadow/liner brush.

This is really a "can't go wrong" kit that's worth the price for the brush alone.

Hard to use!
The colors included in this kit are very pretty. However, the v-shaped brush has proved useless for me. They are assuming that the distance between the lash line and the crease is the same for everyone. It's not. Also, as another reviewer stated, the brush is too flimsy and doesn't allow you much control. After several days of attempting to master the brush, I've given up. I'm giving this product 3 stars....5 stars for the makeup and 0 stars for the brush.

LOVE
I have always had the issue of oily and dry skin and when ever I would put my makeup on I would be oily within the next hour. The matte foundation keeps my skin looking really smooth and natural and keeps me oil free all day. I wore this stuff at a theme park all day and in the afternoon it started to rain, when I got home the coverage was still amazing and looked like it did when I put it on.

Still lovin' BE...
The first thing I noticed was this product is A LOT smaller than the original BE foundations. (for a higher price! shame on you, Leslie.) I mix a little of it in the same lid as my old BE foundation and apply. I've been delighted with the results, especially when used with the Hydrating Mineral Veil.

The Only Mascara I've Ever Loved
I have long, white-blond eyelashes and eyes so sensitive that up until now I've mostly had to go without mascara except for special, fancy occasions where I would carry a bottle of eye drops and constantly use them because my eyes turn beet-red at the slightest irritant near them.

Buxom makes my lashes soft (well, as soft as any lashes can be once coated in mascara) and incredibly full -- I've got a lot of lashes naturally and can look like I'm wearing fake ones if I am not careful about how much I put on. It doesn't irritate my eyes, and the brush on the end of the wand is one of those new rubber ones with little stipples instead of an old-style brush that gets filled with goopy mascara and clumps. Love the brush, love the look, love the mascara.

Definitely one of the best mascaras I've come across and believe me I've tried just about all of them! The brush is great. It doesn't clump up and brushes through your lashes with the product so you won't need to go through with a lash comb afterwards like with other mascaras. The formula is great too. Leaves your lashes long and separated. Think I found a new favorite!
