FINGER TIPS (AND TOES, TOO)
At first I was attracted to OPI nail lacquers because of the wide variety of colors. Upon closer inspection of the display I noted that the colors in a particular collection complimented one another. Thus, if one wanted a particular shade on finger nails and a deeper shade on toes colors were readily available. Thought I'd give it a try.
Not only was I pleased with the colors but the polish goes on smoothly and covers well (no need for a second coat). In addition, it proved to be virtually chip proof. In the past it wasn't unusual for me to have to touch up my nails each evening (as I use a keyboard alot). Now, the color lasts from manicure to manicure.
For me, OPI has proven to be the best.
Outstanding Colors, Incredible Wear: Best nail polish I've tried
I've been doing my nails (not a salon, ME), since I was a kid. I'm middle-aged now, and after trying all sorts of brands, from the cheap to the high-end pricey ones, I've concluded that OPI is the best.
These polishes last two weeks, easy, looking decently on my toes. Hands less long (cause I wash dishes without gloves).
Lately, I've forgone nail polish on my fingers (laziness), but I still love to OPI my toes.
Opi goes on smooth, dries relatively fast, has rich colors, and lasts. Chick Flick Cherry is my fave of the cool, darker reds. Gorgeous red that makes my toes girly, sexy, and very happy. Hubby loves this color, too. Even comments on it. (When a man comments on a toenail color, it's gotta be nice!)
Malaga Wine is another lovely darker, coolor, winey-red color. (Try Kennebunk-port, too. Niiiice.) And in the warmer reds, Thrill of Brazil, Smok'n in Havana are tops. Moscow Red and Big Apple Red are terrific medium reds. And the signature OPI RED is probably flattering on just about everybody, a clear, bright red edging into coolness, a crisp red.
Other excellent colors to scope out: Yucantan if You want, Dutch Tulips, Silent Mauvie, 20 Candles on My Cake.
OPI also has lovely mauves, roses, and natural/beighey/caramel tones, but nothing beats their outstanding reds.
Too many colors, too little pedicure time!
I strongly recommend the OPI nail products. Truly superior. Your husband or boyfriend will be delighted.
OPI's the best!
I'm a professional (male) Belly Dancer - which means I need colors that pop because us Belly Dancers love our colors - and I need long lasting 'cause I'm a male and don't want to be fussing with my nails all the time!
OPI delivers! I can paint my toenails for a performance one week, then just do a minor touchup for next week's performance - unless I need to change colors, of course (about half the time).

For years, when I used nail polish on my toenails, my toenails would become very dry and split... vertically! It wasn't pleasant but I didn't want to wear sandals without polish on my toenails. Since I have been using the OPI Polish Remover - NO MORE SPLITTING! I've been using the product for about 5 years now and I can keep my toenails polished all year long without any problems.

Product is excellent. Acetone-based removers and the polishes they are used for had caused my nails, always very strong and healthy, to begin to split and flake. Stopped using those and found out, through a friend, about OPI products. Have been using them now for a bit over a month, and the improvement is quite noticeable. I am very pleased.

Love the pen, but they charged me $35 to ship the one item 2 day! Could have done it for $3.95 at the post office (plus it hasn't shown up yet). I didn't see that when I checked out. Read the fine print carefully, this is a rip off!!!

Super Product!!
I first tried this product when it was given to me as a free sample. I fell in love with it. It's much faster and easier to use than the OPI Rapidry polish. And it actually works. I spray it on about 15 seconds after my second coat of nail polish. In about a minute or two, the tops of my nails are dry enough that the polish won't mess up if I accidentally tap my fingernails against something. It also allows me to get dressed AFTER polishing my nails without "bunching up" the polish.
Rapid Dry Spray -works Great
I prefer to do my own nails over going to a salon, this spray works great. I try to polish my nails every weekend in hope they will last during the "working week". This spray dries them fast, so I don't get "Sheet Marks" on my nail polish. I have used the spray and polish both, but like the spray better since the application is faster and more user friendly. Great product, I recommend it for anyone that likes fast results.

Suzy and The Lifeguard is great stuff and it keeps things strong and healthy. Of course there are people who don't agree w/the product but I feel if those people really knew it, used it, have been around it, and understand it would appreciate and be happy with it. What a sexy bottle too huh???
Opposing View
I've used OPI nail lacquers for years without chipping or application difficulty by adhering to the following practices.
To prevent chipping, I apply a base coat of OPI Nail Envy to clean dry nails before applying two coats of nail lacquer. Any base coat should work equally well. I then apply a coat of Speedey by Creative Nail Designs overtop the laquer to protect the color from chipping and add extra shine. Granted, as a CPA, my nails aren't exposed to chemicals nor must I wash my hands as frequently as I might in another occupation.
Nail lacquer will thicken with repeated exposure to air, as occurs with each application. This is true of most, if not all brands of lacquer. To extend the product's use, I apply the lacquer away from a free flow of air. When the lacquer shows evidence of thickening, I dispose of it.
I hope the previous reviewer will try OPI Nail Lacquers again with a more satisfying experience.

doing my nails
This product, does indeed, aid in drying freshly polished nails more quickly than just air drying. However, it seems to cause the polish to chip more easily and sooner than when I paint my nails and don't use it. I used the OPI polish, so there is no product clash that may cause the early polish chipping.
nail peel
this finish gave my nail polish a clean, smooth and shiny finish. however, it also caused my nail polish to gradually peel off of my nails. i always liked OPI because it doesnt peel and chip like cheap nail polish so i was disappointed when this product did this.

OPI is great and so is this color
The quality is superb. I'm Not Really A Waitress is a beautiful dark shade of red. I only used one coat and it looked like I had at least two or three on. It lasted the longest of any brand that I have ever used before. I did not have any problems with chipping at all. I would highly recommend this brand to everyone. :)
French Manicure
I discovered this polish Easter 2006. I received a million compliments when I used it as a french manicure. Try it painted at the tips with a silver glitter polish to outline the bottom and you'll also receive lots of comments.
My favorite nail polish!
This is my very favorite nail polish and color! I love the color and get compliments on it all the time. The OPI brand is great, with so many wonderful colors to choose from. I was very disappointed to learn that this particular color has been discontinued, so I tried to find it on Amazon and was delighted when I discovered it here!
